Mixproof Valves
Alfa Laval offers several mixproof designs and we back them all with years of application experience. We can provide you with a system engineered to fit your needs exactly.

Mixproof valve technology has truly revolutionized the sanitary flow industry. One mix proof valve can do the job of two or three single-seat valves, saving you space and installation costs and providing you with unmatched system flexibility.

Unique Mixproof Valve
Extensive world-wide research in the marketplace has shown that no other single valve has been able to fulfill all process requirements! These valves can be tailored to exactly the features you need for your specific application.

- Fits exactly to your process
- Offers our patented SpiralClean system for ultimate
  hygienic performance
- Simple installation and requires minimal service and
  maintenance

AMP Aseptic Valve
The new AMP mixproof valve is the clever solution to the main problem in the world of aseptic processing: How to combine optimum security against contamination with the facilities and advantages of a mixproof valve.

Features & Benefits:
- spillage free operation - no product loss
- integrated sterile barrier - low steam consumption
- no risk of mixing product
- minimal heating of product
- independant seat cleaning - optimum process hygiene
- simple and reliable monitoring system
- easy to install and maintain - only one actuator

Unique Mixproof Valve
Other Mixproof Valves
Alfa Laval´s range of mixproof valves also covers a number of well established and reliable designs. They incorporate sanitary and pressure-resistant features that makes them an indispensable part of the most demanding processing operations.

SMP-SC - the building block of our mixproof family
SMP-TO - specially designed for tank outlet operations
SMP-BC - specially engineered for applications where
additional safety and leak detection are desirable
SMP-BCA Aseptic - disigned to handle high sterilization temp-   eratures of aseptic applications.

Single Seat Valves

SRC - Sanitary Remote Control Valve
Alfa Laval's air-actuated SRC sanitary remote control valve is the basic technology upon which the seat valve series is built.
The wide range of options ensures that the SRC valve can be adapted to all installations

Available in automatic, manual & aseptic models, the SRC valve requires only a few simple moving parts for operation, making it an extremely reliable and hygienic design for stopping or diverting product flow in single or multi-directional systems.

Features & Benefits:

- Product wetted parts AISI 316L/EPDM
- Flexible installation
- Long process time due to few moving parts
- Modular valve design makes it easy to change from one
  process request to another
- Compact valve body with clamp connection
- Repairable actuator with a caged spring
- Field reversible from normally open to normally closed
- Prepared for ThinkTopâ
- No special tools required for maintenance
- Easy and quick maintenance

SRC-LS Long Stroke Actuated Valve
For high viscosity products, products with solids and used as a changeover or shut-off valve

SRC-
Sanitary Remote Control Valve
ARC
Aseptic remote controlled valve with PTFE diaphragm
The valve is designed to meet most aseptic applications and does not require use of steam. Excellent cleanability and smooth product treatment. Authorized to carry the 3A symbol.
ARC-SB
With steel bellows for most aseptic applications.Immediate leakage indication, optimum hygienic qualities and safe sterile seal.
AMO
Aseptic manually operated valve with PTFE diaphragm

SMO
Sanitary Manually Operated Valve
Few moving parts, can be opened gradually and has a stainless steel construction.
SMO-R Regulating Valve
Basic manual valve used for regulating flow

ARC
Aseptic Remote Controlled Valve

Butterfly Valves
LKB butterfly valves are economical on/off routing valves, available for either automatic or manually operated systems. These stainless steel valves offer:
- low flow resistance
- allow for reversible flow direction
- provide gentle treatment of low and medium viscosity
  products

LKB - for ISO tubes
LKB-2 - for DIN tubes
LKB-F
- flange connections in welded systems for in-line maintenance

Actuators
- available as normally closed or normally open versions. The LKB can be fitted with LKLA actuators as well as the ThinkTop® control and indication unit.

Handles - a complete range of handles; multi-position lockable handle and a complete range of multi-position, mechanically locking handles.

Saunders Diaphragm Valves
The highest standards of performance and reliability in diaphragm valve design. The valve body is self-draining, making it an ideal choice for SIP (steam in place) and CIP (clean in place) applications. The aseptic diaphragm valve assures even the most demanding product contact applications will be handled with complet security, sterility and containment.

Alfa Laval offers a complete range of sanitary diaphragm valves:

AFP - valves for most applications
ZDT - zero deadleg valves
TBV - tank bottom valves
CCB - close coupled branch valves
Multi-port Diverter - valves

Actuators for the Saunders Aseptic Diaphragm Valve Product Line offers several options:

EC - piston style
ECX - diaphragm style
SSC

Sanitary Pressure Control Valve
The Alfa Laval SPC line of valves can help reduce pressure control problems in air-operated systems and can be used in throttling applications.
SPC-1
- ideal for systems subject to wide pressure variations. Features a positioner with feedback loop to compensate for for fluctuations in pressure.
SPC-2
- promarily used in the production of standardised milk
to regulate the amount of cream in a standardisingsystem.

Constant Pressure Modulating Valve
CPM-2
series is designed to maintain either constant inlet or constant outlet pressure - important for such applications as pasteurisation, separation, filling systems, filters, filtration and heat exchangers.
