Alfa Laval is pleased to announce the introduction of the new ThinkTop Control and Indication Unit with reliable automated system control.

The new ThinkTop offers the most advanced automated control of valves in the industry and whether you are modifying an existing plant or planning a new installation, the ThinkTop will fit into the installation.

The revolutionary design offers two additional internal signals, external signals or one of each, offering the most complete and flexible communication.

Once the top is mounted on the valve the air supply can be added. The unique sensor system has a series of microchips that calculate the current position of the valve stem, allowing the ThinkTop to be self-adjusting.

The ability to operate with a variety of interface modules is yet another benefit of the ThinkTop. Digital and Bus versions are all compatible with the ThinkTop control unit.

Position Indicators
The SRC and ARC valves can be equipped with a laterally fitted indication unit with either micro switches or inductive proximity switches for remote indication.

Laterally fitted switch units are also available for remote indication of the position of the butterfly valves. This unit is available with one of three possible Hall proximity switches or micro switches.

For manually operated butterfly valves a special handle with remote position indication is available with the same selection of switches.

The pneumatically operated butterfly valves are always equipped with a visual position indication as standard.
